The new AmigaOne X5000 board with code name Cyrus Plus is now available on the webstore of Alinea Computer. The new high-end PPC platform is specifically created to run AmigaOS 4.1, although it supports a number of other PowerPC operating systems such as Ubuntu and Debian. The Cyrus Plus board is based on the Freescale’s QorlQ P5 64-bit PowerPC CPU SoC range.
