Third party developer Alfredo Amendolagine released a new update of his multi-touch software for AmigaOS 4.1. The project is over 8 years in development and is entering the final development stage. Multi-touch is technology that enables a surface to recognize the presence of more than one point of contact with the surface at the same time. The origins of multitouch began at CERN in the 1970s, Apple popularized the term multi-touch in 2007. The developer is currently searching for beta testers, release date is TBA.
